In honor of all mothers... the Muslim Educational Trust Board of Directors is pleased to introduce OMY, meaning 'My Mother' in Arabic, which is a program dedicated to all mothers who have worked so selflessly, tirelessly, and patiently day in and day out to fulfill the precious trust of raising their children, teaching them, guiding them, and inspiring them to be the best they can be.

Oregon Muslim Youth ( OMY  أمي ) is a youth enrichment, engagement, and mentoring program.  With the vision of nurturing today's seeds for a brighter tomorrow, the mission of OMY is to change lives and build bright futures for Oregon children and youth toward developing generations of proud and committed Muslims who lead our community to the fore front of bridge-building dialogue, faith-based community service, and stewardship of Earth and humanity. Through a wide variety of interactive learning experiences and outreach activities within the Islamic School of MET, Oregon Islamic Academy, and beyond, OMY seeks to meet the educational, social, and spiritual needs of our youth while equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and work ethic they need to succeed and leave their mark in today's world.  OMY experiences and programs are specifically designed to inspire, motivate, and prepare our children and youth for a life of contribution and while they acquire artistic skills, leadership skills, public speaking skills, strategic thinking skills, community service skills, as well as fitness and well-being skills. OMY children and youth envision a bright and prosperous future for the community they love as they lead a lifestyle of excellence and righteousness and always set a good example of themselves to everyone around them.
