Join us for an evening of cultural diplomacy with the African American community in Portland, Oregon. We will watch the documentary "Prince Among Slaves" which was conceived, designed, and executive produced by Unity Productions Foundation (UPF). The documentary recounts the true story of an African Muslim prince who was captured and sold into slavery in the American South. After 40 years of enslavement, he finally regained his freedom, became a national celebrity, and dined in the White House. This is an incredible story about an incredible man who endured the humiliation of slavery without ever losing his dignity or his hope for freedom.

Our Keynote speaker with be Mr. Michael Wolfe, Executive Producer and President of Unity Productions Foundation. Keynote speech will be followed by a panel discussion. Our panelists include Pastor Matt Hennessee, Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church; Imam Muhammad Najieb, Muslim Community Center of Portland; and Donna Maxey, Race Talks.
